Tea, coffee, fizzy drinks, high-sugar fruit juices and alcoholic beverages are the main form of liquid imbibed by large numbers of people. Unfortunately none of these help to hydrate the body properly, and some can actually result in you losing water!
We recommend a simple hydration regime – based on high quality
water, taken on its own and also with Ultralife products. We are
concerned by the chemical composition of tap water, so recommend
that you use spring water or a filtration system of some sort. A jug filter
removes or reduces some (but far from all) of the chemicals, and if you
use one it’s essential to replace the cartridges regularly (follow the
manufacturer’s instructions).
Under-sink reverse osmosis filter systems are one of the best options;
you can be sure of high quality, pure water that can be used for all your
drinking and cooking needs.
