Ultralife Ltd was founded in 2001, born out of the joint vision and determination of its founders to provide the potential for improved 'Longevity and Lifestyle Through Excellence'. The company has tirelessly researched, developed and manufactured a range of high quality products that address nutritional issues threatening to challenge the health of the nation. These products are unique in that, unlike anything else on the market, they are simply mixed with water. Our range of detox drinks, healthy shakes and multi vitamin supplements are manufactured to rigorous scientific standards in ultralife's purpose built factory in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and contain the highest quality raw ingredients from around the world - all of which are supplied with certificates of analysis.
"We are now faced with a 'time poor' generation of consumers that want to change their nutritional habits but are put off by the thought of having to drastically change their lifestyle," says Greg Watts, CEO at ultralife. "All our mineral and vitamin supplements can be mixed with water and we even supply a convenient shaker, so there really are no excuses."
As well as being nutritionally sound, all ultralife products are manufactured with taste in mind. "Consumers in the twenty first century demand quality and our products must reflect that," continues Watts. "Our supplements are highly appealing, great tasting and of superior quality. They are totally unique in that they are easier to take than the array of conventional health tablets and drinks already flooding the market."
Ultralife Ltd is committed to the development of further 'consumer friendly' products such as soups and other nutritional products. In order to suit an ever-increasing range of dietary intolerances, ultralife products contain no added sugar, artificial colourings, flavourings, flavour enhancers or preservatives. They are free from lactose, egg, wheat, gluten, sucrose and dairy products, and are suitable for both diabetics and children.
More recently ultralife Ltd has affiliated itself with 'The Institute of Complementary Medicine', working closely with respected researchers and practitioners to ensure latest practice is adhered to at every stage of product development. Scientific Director Dr Robert Verkerk says, "To date, education on nutrition, and the use of pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements have had little impact on the dramatic and overall rise in chronic diseases, although there is clear evidence that attention to diet and specific supplementation regimes can dramatically reduce risks of disease. The absence of population wide impacts on chronic disease rates is probably attributable to inadequate targeting of known risk factors."
Research shows that, even for the most health conscious shopper, it is becoming more and more difficult to consume a varied and balanced diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables. "We aim to fill this gap and make day-to-day good nutrition as easy as cleaning your teeth in the morning," comments Watts. "Ultralife consumers have enjoyed a variety of results including weight loss, reduced insulin dependence among diabetics, improved immune system and vitality."
